Mooring lines for the largest commercial shipping down to smaller pleasure craft — with our own splicers who make eyes in no time, regardless of thickness.
BijRinus supplies mooring lines and hawsers made of polypropylene and mixed polyolefin (PP/PE), such as Tipto twelve® and our BR-Float lines, as well as mixed polyester/polyolefin lines such as BR-Plus. These lines float, do not absorb water and are light to handle — ideal as mooring lines for inland shipping, sea shipping and pleasure craft. Available from 16 mm to 56 mm, and with Tipto® eight up to 144 mm for the largest vessels. Other materials, such as nylon stretchers, are no problem at all.

BR-Float
Floating mooring line, approx. 20% stronger than Tipto twelve. Soft hand feel, UV-stabilised and good shock absorption under dynamic loads.
Polyester/polyolefin · Ø 24–48 mm · MBL 11.9–46.5 t
BR-Plus
Buoyant, round-braided mixed line: the durability of polyester with the low weight of polyolefin. Strong and economical.
12-strand PP/PE · Ø 16–56 mm
Tipto twelve®
Round, stable and straight braided mooring line. Floats, absorbs no water, approx. 14% elongation and a coloured marker strand from 32 mm for easy inspection.
8-strand PP/PE · Ø 40–144 mm · MBL 27–309 t
Tipto® eight
Floating hawser for large seagoing vessels and towing. Light and slim for its strength, so less risk of the line fouling the propeller.

Our own rope splicers make the finest eyes in a rope every day — the thickness of the rope is no obstacle. On-site splicing is also an option. Looking for the strongest variant instead? Then take a look at our Dyneema® and HMPE lines.
